We're home!

Magnet students were dropped off at 7:55 and then PJ our bus driver drove the islanders to Noank and they all took the Popeye to the Island.

Now for such much needed sleep--don't forget to change the clocks tomorrow night!

Ride Home Update

Well we have been on the bus since 2:30 pm and it is now 6:55 pm. We were warnee along the way of two accidents so tried to find an alternate route. Unfortunately those bridges were not designed for a 12' bus to go under. We had to turn around and get back on 95. We are  moving along and finally at exit 47 outside of New Haven. Hopefully the accidents are cleared.

Traffic and longer route home.

We just got word that there are two accidents and part of 95 is closed. we are seeking an alternative route, but this will make us alot latter.  On 95 how we love you!

Central Park vs Times Square

So the students voted for Times Square. Their eyes were wide open and so excited. Jake got his first lesson in street vendors--ask him and he will tell you all about it. The traditional "I love NY shirts were purchased, while others just took in all of the sights. It is now 2:55 and we are heading out of the city. The kids were great!

Last Day

Absolutely fantastic playWicked. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. Our guide told us we could slep in a little bit in the morning--we did not need to board the bus till 9:00.  We are off the Metropolitan Museum of Art this morning. Everyone is doing great but I am sure they will be glad to return home.
